Stir fried kimchi with sliced tofu and green onions are a delicious snack!
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- 1½ cups kimchi
- ½ tablespoon gochujang red pepper paste
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- ½ teaspoon sugar optional
- 1 green onion sliced
- seaweed to wrap the tofu and kimchi
- 1 medium block tofu
Slice green onions thinly. To make it less spicy, soak in cold water for 10 minutes.
Heat pan to medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon avocado oil and then 1.5 cups kimchi. Then, add 1/2 tablespoon gochujang, soy sauce, sesame seeds and sesame oil. Mix together and saute for 3 to 4 minutes until cabbage is cooked. Set aside.
Sliced tofu in slices and arrange in a circle on a plate. This is optional, but I like to steam mine! Heat a pot of water on high heat and add your steamer when water is boiling. Steam tofu for 3 minutes. Pour out excess water.
Add kimchi in the center of the plate with green onions. Garnish with sesame seeds. You can also eat the tofu kimchi with seaweed for some umami and crispy flavor! Hope you enjoy!
